The Directors
Hubert Dias
Hubert has a combined love for music and electronics. Whilst PCB manufacture and electronics has provided him with a living he is often better known in the Wiltshire area for his guitar playing and The “In the Shadows of Santana” band which played at the North Wiltshire Festival last Summer.
Hubert likes listening to bands such as Santana, Osibisa, Van Morrison, and roots music with congas!
Roger Croft
Roger has a background in product development, a DTI mentor for a Grant for Investigating Innovative ideas, and has developed and tutored on courses at the Small Business Hub at the University of Bath. Roger plays the flute and guitar. Roger worked on what the market wants and identifying improvements to the prototypes. Apart from obvious references to Jethro Tull and Focus bands that are current on his iPod are; Tinariwen (a fantastic African band), Beck, The Frames, Brian Eno, Seth Lakeman, Gjallarhorn, Andrew Cronshaw, and even a little Rusted Root.
We both had a little adjusting to getting music right on the iPod in terms of quality of sound and not buying records or cd's. If you want to listen to airSound with the best effects then you may well find that artists such as Gjallarhorn, Andrew Cronshaw, or Tinariwen show the "space" off really well. Whilst pop music sounds really clear there can be limited use of stereo. Getting hold of music online as Mp3's is also a challenge. Roger has found that Emusic works really well.
